I'm not a professional but I hope to dye some fabric this summer. I bought the book yesterday and am in love with your ideas. You make it seem much simpler than other books I have bought and never used.
I finally had an opportunity to dye fabrics for the whole weekend. So I grabbed your beautiful book and got started early Saturday morning. I've taken dyeing classes and played with fabric dyeing for the last couple of years - but i NEVER got the results that I did this weekend, following your book! AND it has never been quite as easy as it was following your techniques!
I'm so excited!! I want to leave work and dye fabric ALL WEEK! The colors turned out beautiful!
I need to make more!! Any pointers on how to make at least a yard of each color, rather than 1/4 to 1/2?? Quadrupling the recipe sound a little like overkill. I've got 30 more yards of fabric and more dye coming tomorrow! YEAH! Did I mention I'm excited?! ;)
