I have thoroughly enjoyed this blog hop. I have found so many wonderful blogs to add to my feed reader. But there is one danger... I may now have to many blogs to read that it will cut into my quilting time. Wouldn't that be a tragedy. But at least I get the chance to win a copy of Laura's book. I'm itchin' with anticipation!

I am a new visitor to your blog -- via Laura's blog, via Annie Smith (simplearts.com) and her recent interview with Laura about this wonderful new book. I too am an "old" hand-embroiderer, but relatively new to dyeing my own fabric and thread. And I love the fact that Laura "works small" as I do -- always a challenge re: presenting pieces so they don't look like pretty placemats! LOL! Who wouldn't want to be at home with Laura's new book?No boring stuff here and no one should ever expect anything that Laura does to be anything but challenging and wonderful. She has a sense of humor in everything she does whether in her writing or speaking and even her doing.
I say the world would be better if we could all take Laura's approach. I am not discounting Frieda at all as she is very good, but it's Laura's sense of humor that will get you everytime.
