This relates to nothing at all, except that I love the way the sun played with shadow on these Hickory Nuts I brought up from the woods for the squirrels that live in the tree in my backyard.

The online art quilt group that I belong to is working on a "sunshine and shadow" exercise this week. What a perfect photo to study, as I haven't done my journal piece yet! I've been looking at tons of photos to see the shadows and light. Thanks!
