How about this one?The man You've become - Molly Pasutti Big wheels, hot wheelsLittle trucks and carsSkinned knees, climbing treesWishing on the starsMoments may be lost somewhere in timeBut the sweetest memories are never left behindNow you’ve grown so fineAnd come so far…CHORUSI’m so proud of who you areThe man you’ve becomeThrilled to share your deepest joyTo know you’ve found the oneFor the great things you will doI’ll be blessed ‘cause you’re my sonBut I’ll always see the boyIn the man you’ve becomeSchool days, sleep-awaysDriving all alonePhone calls, shopping mallsLate coming homeIt was hard to know when to let you spread your wingsWhen to let you got to face the challenges life bringsBut you’ve grown so fineAnd come so far…CHORUS
"Because you loved me," "Have I Told you Lately," "In My Life," "Unforgetable," "What a Wonderful World," "You are the Sunshine of my life..."There are a bunch of suggestions on theknot.com and other wedding websites. You might want to check them out. "Have I Told you Lately" was my husband and my mother-in-law's song that they danced to.
My suggestion: Boogie Shoes
My son got married last September and I really liked the song Jackie mentioned but then I thought it might be a bit corny even though it made me cry. It's a great song but I'm not so sure about dancing to it. We ended up dancing to 'I hope you dance' by Lee Ann Womack. It was very nice!
We choose Wonderful World for the bride/father, groom/mother dance at our wedding.
Sorry I have no suggestions but I just had to say--look at how cute you two are! xo
If I Could sung by either Ray Charles or Gladys Knight. I don't like the other versions by Celine Dion, and that other lady that sounds like Patty Labelle.
My DS picked "MaMa: by Boys to Men.I still cry when ever I hear it 10 years later.
I chose What a Wonderful World by Louie Armstrong. I love that song.
