Listening is an Act of LOVE

Thanksgiving …

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.  ~Thornton Wilder

Did you do as I did and reflect on all the things that you are grateful for yesterday?
  • Family
  • Friends
  • Health
  • Love
  • Work
  • A warm safe place to live
  • Food
  • Clean water
  • Warm bed
  • Clothes that fit
  • Sewing machine
  • Fabric :)
For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thanksgiving is a time to talk, to remember, to laugh, and to listen. And while the only gift exchanged is the time we give to our friends and family, Listening is an Act of Love.

I hope you had a day of listening. I hope it was a good day.

Happy Quilting

Thanks Frieda, mine was a wonderful day. Not perfect by any means, but wonderful none the less.

I hope yours was also.

Yes, I certainly did count my blessings. And while our celebration was small, it was marvelous time of being together.
