The new season for Quilting Arts TV will air soon. I will be featured twice, however you will only see me once. I was sick for my TV appearance and I had to mail it in. However my good friend Laura Wasilowski was able to present my project. I hope you get a chance to view it in your area. Give your PBS station a call if you can't see it.

Megan and Lars' shower

Two weekends ago I flew to Scranton PA to attend a bridal shower for my son Lars and my soon to be daughter in law Megan. I had a fabulous time visiting with them in their new home and being part of the celebration. I got to see where they live and work, visiting both of their jobs and even meeting the judge Lars is clerking for. As a mother I am so happy to see my son settling into a life he has worked so hard to achieve. As a new mother in law I couldn't be more blessed with my new "daughter". Life is good for all of us right now.
Here are a few pictures from the weekend. My niece Gretchen was also able to join us, so it really felt like family.
