Minneapolis is the coolest city. Their downtown is very pedestrian friendly. Nicollet Mall the main drag street has great art all along the sidewalks and on Thursdays fruit, flower and vegetable vendors come out and sell their wares. I took these pictures of the man hole covers and wanted to share them.

Fun post. Oh how I'd love to use those manhole covers for some paintsticks rubbing plates. LOL!
Not sure if you ever saw the quilts that a lady made, many years ago, of various man hole covers in Japan. Just lovely quilts. Could be fun to do this with those you saw.
