New Patterns

I am getting ready to launch several new patterns. I always have trouble coming up with fun and interesting names for my quilts and my patterns. So I thought I would run a contest and the winner will receive a copy of my new patterns hot off the presses when they are printed. Here are the two new fused patterns. One is three versions of Blue and Green Jack-in-the-Pulpits, and the other is two versions in Purple/Pink of Jack-in-the-Pulpits.

Jack Dragons - Another name for Jack in the Pulpits is Brown Dragon but that is kind of boring so I thought Jack Dragons was much better.

These are just gorgeous. I like Lisa's name of Jack Dragons. But I'd like to throw in Fossil Jacks as my entry, only because I think these patterns would look gorgeous done in Fossil Ferns and they are kind of Ferns too. So that's my entry choice. Thanks for giving us this opportunity.

Bonitos nombres han dicho otras amigas. Pero si bien lo asocio con fósiles, pasado y serenidad, propongo "eternidad ".gracias por permitirme participar

I had to translate from isa and marta
Nice names have told other friends. But if I associate with fossils, past and serenity, I propose 'eternity'. Thanks for letting me participate

I don't know if any of these names would help you name your patterns but my grandfather used to call jack-in-the-pulpits "Indian Turnips." Probably not the best name. Grandma called them "Reverent Jacks" and the lady around the bend from us called them "Magical Jacks" because she had a low spot that flooded in the spring. As soon as the water receded, the jack-in-the-pulpits popped up everywhere - hence the magical. Pesonally I like "Reverent Jacks" the best although I don't know if it's a good selling name for your pattern. No matter what you name them, the new patterns are beautiful.

I showed your blog regarding the jack-in-the-pulpit patterns and she would like to suggest "Plant of Peace." She said she always loved seeing them every spring and they made her feel peaceful and happy.

That last comment should have said that I showed your blog to my mother and "Plant of Peace" is what she suggested. Sorry for the typo.

"Pulpitude"? A take-off on "pulchritude", or "physical beauty." It just popped into my head. Can't explain those things.
